A little about me
I worked in education for many years and became interested in therapeutic work through working with children in care and also through having therapy myself. I began seeing clients in 2015 whilst completing my training. I have worked in numerous contexts with adults including mothers and mothers to be; parental support; low cost and free at point of delivery counselling services and as an Honorary Psychotherapist in Southwark Adult Psychotherapy services. Most recently I have become a clinical assessor for a low cost service attached to a training institution.
Confidentiality and Safety
I am a UKCP psychotherapist and abide by their code of ethics. I am also accredited by the BACP as a counsellor and so guided by their Ethical Framework which requires me to be in regular supervision with a senior and experienced colleague. Here I discuss my work which is an added layer of protection for you as client. Your identity and confidentiality is protected within these discussions. I engage in ongoing professional development activities.
